Bueno, ante todo, deciros que no voy a traducir esta carta enviada porque sólo habla de cosa de interés de las chicas del club de Fans (las cuales, como están apuntadas, les llegará también esta carta) y de cosas sobre la salida del libro (dónde van a estar, que tendrán regalos en el Stand, etc). Y luego también, de lo bien que se está vendiendo el merchandising de su tienda.

La otra cosa relevante que cuenta es que se pueden solicitar libros para que te los envíen firmados a casa. Eso se puede hacer hasta el día 1 de Febrero porque después, los libros ya serán enviados, así que ya no habría más oportunidad. Para saber lo que hay que hacer, es el listado de puntos que hay casi al final y que, si tienes pensado solicitar el libro es porque sabes inglés y por tanto, no tendrás problema en leerlo

Some of you have already noticed the new wolf charms which Mighty Barnacle will be selling in Booth 1507 at New York Comic Con.

These will also be available through the MightyBarnacle.com store after the convention at $14.99 each or the set of three for $40.00.

The Fang charm will be given out free to Fan Club members as part of their August mailing commemorating the release of Bad Moon Rising.

Fan Club members will also get the 2009 Minion pin for free.

The pin will also be sold for $14.99 and you can buy all four of them for $50.00.

This means that if a fan club member buys the Vane and Fury pendants, they will have the full set for only $30.00 which is half the price of buying all four pins individually. The pins also come in a small velveteen pouch the color of which matches the stone (except for the fan club pin--it's in a black pouch).

If you're not a fan club member and would like to join, the best way is through the Mightybarnacle.com store. Please remember that we're waiting for the pins to come in so no intro packet will be mailed out until the new pins are in.

And speaking of things coming in, the latest edition of the Knight of Darkness comic is out and it too is available at the MightyBarnacle.com store.

We'll be debuting several new fun things at the Con including the new Simi and Kyrian gift tags and fun notepads seen below. Be kind to Simi for you are crunchy and taste good with BBQ sauce -- there are matching tshirts for this as well When it absolutely, positively must be slaughtered overnight.

I know some of you are still a little leery after the fiasco of Acheron, but Borders is a great company and this is one of their premiere stores so it should go over without a hitch.

So for those of you who live outside of the US or in an area where I can't get to, this is another chance to buy a personalized/autographed book for your collection or for a gift.

I'll be signing the books on Monday Feb. 2nd (the public signing will be the next day in the store at 6 PM) and they should all go out on Tuesday and Wednesday by FedEx Ground for orders in the U.S., and via USPS for international orders. In order for the books to be shipped, the last day to order your copy is Feb. 1st.

Due to the emails we're getting, Tina, Erin, Carl and Kim have asked that I send out a clarification on my previous posts and emails.

Dream Warrior unfortunately is not available as a hardcover from Borders. The only way to get it as a hardcover is through one of the specialty clubs such as SFBC or Rhapsody. The only hardcovers that can be purchased through Borders is Devil May Cry and Acheron.

The paperback for Acheron will be out this coming May. We're also aware that Acheron is again out of stock on BN.com–thank you to everyone who's notified us. They're working hard on getting more copies in.

Erin and Kim also wanted me to clarify on the fan club that we don't have auto-renewal with the new system we moved to this past summer. Sorry. The fan club runs January to January of each year which means old fan club members must sign up again this year in order to receive new mailings for 2009. The next major mailing is in Feb and we are waiting for the new 2009 pins to come in in order to mail out the new member's packets.
